J.D.Power APEAL Study 2009 Porsche Remains On Top

J.D.Power APEAL Study 2009 results announced today shows Porsche’s reputation is unshakable.This fifth year in a row Porsche coming top of the list.JD Power Automotive Power Execution And Lay Out Study  measures how new model car impresses the diver.The car owner/driver feedback has been captured after considering ninety different aspects of the ownership.

J.D.Power APEAL Study this year interviewed 90,000 car owners and drivers after 90 days of their car purchase.The scores as usual declared in 1000 points scale and Porsche managed to score 869, ten points ahead of the nearest, Jaguar. Cadillac,Audi and BMW came at third,fourth and fifth places respectively.The industry average this year has been improved by nine points.The overall score of all companies has improved comparing to last years score.

APEAL Study 2009 conducted by J.D Power shows another interesting trend, costumers are now looking for fuel efficient models and now they are less worried about fuel efficiency of the car due to falling fuel prices.

This year’s APEAL study results also shows some consistent performers in different segments.Volkswagen became the top scorer in four different segments, Volkswagen CC,Passat,GTI and Tiguan earned this prestigious awards for them.While Honda(Odyssey and Ridgeline) Ford(F-150 and Flex) Nissan(Armada and Maxima) and Mercedez Benz(S-Class and SLK Class) also could score two top spots each.
