After releasing stunning cars like the XF, XJ and posting profits, Jaguar is definitely on the path to success. They will now take a faster route to achieve the glory that once the brand once reveled in. After launching assault on the 5-Series, E-class, A6 with their XF and taking their bigger brothers with the XJ, Jaguar now targets the German trio’s smaller brothers with their next-generation X-type. Tata Motors CEO Carl Peter Forster has reportedly given the green light to the X-type and a smaller roadster named the F-type. Moreover, there wouldn’t be just spawn a single version but many.
After BMW and Mercedes Benz, Jaguar will introduce a long wheelbase model of the XF for the Chinese market. The two cars are said to be in advanced stages of development and are expected in 2012.
