Kawasaki To Join Superbike Bandwagon With Ninja 250

Superbike’s success in India now tempting none other than Kawasaki of Japan.Kawasaki is now actively considering to launch their small super bike series in India.As usual Bajaj Auto will be their partner in this big step, that may redefine India’s two wheeler scenario.

Superbikes portfolio has been a life breather for Yamaha India,after long struggling in highly competitive Indian motorcycle market.As the early starter Yamaha reaped heavy gains from their supebike offering.Suzuki and Honda also launched their range of superbikes to tap additional revenue in addition to their already available commuter and executive bikes.

Kawasaki for sure won’t be launching some high powered bikes to show their presence.We are sure Kawasaki’s entry with ‘better than late than never’ tagline will be interesting to watch.As of now Kawasaki is confirmed the launch of their Ninja 250 by this year end.This bikes will be assembled in Bajaj Auto’s Chakan facility.The bikes will be imported from Kawasaki’s Thailand plant.

Kawasaki Ninja 250 will be priced at par with other superbikes available in this range.Thanks to Kawasaki and Bajaj for choosing Completely Knocked Down(CKD) route for Ninja 250′s Indian entry.In addition to Ninja 250cc Kawasaki is mulling some other models for India.This include Ninja ZX-6R and Sports Roadster.

Kawasaki Ninja series will be a boon not only for Kawasaki but our own Bajaj Auto.Eventhough Bajaj is confident about keeping their No.2 slot in two wheeler sales figures, TVS and HMSI is not loosing any chance to snatch this spot from Bajaj.So let us see how the competition between various players will

    They keep saying they will launch the Ninja, but when is still the question. You can’t trust Bajaj with dates, not yet, not yet.

      Fas thanks for stopping and commenting.This is the classical example of how companies loosing their credibility due to false promises.But this time Kawasaki officials also echoeing the same tune.So let us wait till end of this year.
