AutoBild have apparently got hold of genuine pictures of Volkswagen Passat. If the picture is anything to go by, then it follows VW’s new found design language. It bears much resemblance to the refreshed VW phaeton and the new Touareg. Walter De Silva’s styling language started with Polos and Golfs has now influenced the entire VW family. The new Passat definitely looks upmarket than the model it replaces and is a mini-Phaeton. It will be launched later this year after its debut at the Paris Motor Show. Should make it to India soon after its international launch. So is the new Passat the 3-Series, E-class and A4 competitor now? You bet.
