Mahindra XUV500 bookings to re-open on 25th January

Mahindra XUV500 has been emerged as one of the most successful product launch in the year 2011. Mahindra and Mahindra dealers managed to pileup over 8000 bookings in a week time and company was forced to stop accepting any fresh orders. Now for those who are waiting to sign on the dotted line to book a XUV500, here is the news which you were waiting for. Mahindra XUV500 bookings are open from 25th January but do remember the bookings are open for only 10 days. This time Mahindra XUV500 will be available in 19 cities including many tier – II and III cities. You may have to hand over a Demand Draft or a Pay Order of Rs.80,000 to take part in the draw.

Following are the cities where XUV500 bookings will be open in second phase, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Nasik, Jallandhar, Patiala, Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut, Trissur, Coimbatore, Nagpur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh / Panchkula, Ludhiana and Hyderabad. Mahindra XUV500 bookings will be limited to 7200 units to limit waiting period to four months. If the bookings cross 7200 marks company will allot booking through a lucky draw. Probably this is the first time we are hearing about a lucky draw for an SUV.

Hope our readers remember that first batch of Tata Nano was allotted to customers through a similar method. The lucky draw will be held in Mumbai on 15th February in presence of media representatives. The whole process will be validated by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India Pvt. Ltd.
