Maruti A-Star Automatic has got a launch date finally. Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the autobox fitted A-Star on Indian Independence day. A-Star Automatic India launch has become a discussion topic on all automobile related and social media sites. The Suzuki A-Star will come with a four speed auto box most likely with VXi trim. But there are rumours suggesting that Maruti will launch A-Star with ZXi (A-Star top end) trim package. Maruti claims A-Star Automatic will return a mileage of 17 km/ltr.
Though Maruti is tight lipped about the price tag of A-Star Automatic, we believe that A-Star Automatic will be priced some where around Rs.4lacs. That could pull curtain of Hyundai i10’s monopoly in automatic compact car segment. To launch A-Star Automatic in India Maruti does not work any thing extra as currently they are producing and exporting them from India to other overseas markets.
News about launch of an automatic small car from Maruti Suzuki is really a great relief to commuters who struggle in city’s bumper to bumper traffic. So Maruti is all set give us freedom from clutch and gear shifter on our 63rd Independence day. Hope they won’t disappoint us with pricing, if Maruti follow their current trend prices will be in reach of an average Indian small car buyer. Stay with us for more updates and news on this topic.
