We know that Maruti is putting all effort to take on their competition. In recent past Maruti saw a slide in their market share in small car segment, the major chunk of Maruti’s market share was taken away by Ford Figo and Chevrolet Beat. Now Maruti is in damage control mode by introducing K-Series motor in their current top seller Alto. Carwale team managed to snap this fully exposed rear portion of this upcoming attraction in small car segment. The launch of Maruti Alto with K-Series engine may happen very soon.
It seems Maruti Suzuki’s styling team has been spend sufficient time in restyling this successful small car. New Alto got a new tail gate and bumper assembly, the license plate now houses on tail gate. We hope you remember that in current Alto the license plate has been fixed on bumper. The tail lamp cluster too got a major design change for good. Maruti Alto is almost a decade old, this could be the most significant facelift of this small car rather we love to call this facelift was much needed one. The price may see an upward revision, if at all it does not happen then Maruti is going to make it’s competitors life miserable.
K-Series engine does not require an introduction, it debuted in India by powering Maruti Suzuki A-Star. Currently it is powering up Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R too. This engine is best known for it’s extra ordinary fuel efficiency figures and refinement characteristics. This 3-pot 998cc will definitely act as an agent to improve the sales figures of Maruti Alto.

It’s huge if you look at the picture in the brochure that got leaked out. Feel it’s a little too good to be priced at around Rs 2.8-3.4 Lakh (if it’s priced that way).
Ahww!! disappointed with the looks, was expecting it to look a tad decent with more cars like Figo and Micra coming in. It looks already dated (old).
The A-star concept which they had shown few yrs back was their best attempt at making small cars look good. Ultimately the Indian consumers got robbed of it as well and finally came out with a cramped and horrible imitation of i10 in india.

sir,there are two maruti suzuki companies in india. first is original.
second is local.but car bodies are same.but engines are differ. if you want to know the truth ,you check your car engine. there is inprint suzuki name on the engine that is original maruti suzuki car. at the same time there is no inprint suzuki name that is local or fake engine.that is called local car. remember it . you tell your friends also.
