Its luxury time this year! All the luxury car makers are crazy after India. Maserati will penetrate Indian niche Luxury car market tomorrow along with the launch of Bentley Continental GT. Maserati is the brand of Fiat Motors S.p.A just like Ferrari. Maserati has already got strong presence in Asia in China and Singapore and is now headed to India. Just like Ferrari, Shreyans group are expected to bring in Maserati here.
Maserati will be officially launch its operation in India on April6th in New Delhi and the luxury brand will start its operation in two cities including New Delhi and Mumbai and expand its dealerships in other cities. Prices are expected to start from above INR 1crore. Maserati Quattroporte is the Ultra luxury saloon to be launched in India along with few other models that will sport a 4.7-litre, V8 engine with power slated between 425-440bhp. Maserati’s Quattroporte will be a direct challenge to the very soon coming Aston Martin Rapide and the already here Porsche’s Panamera in India.
Maserati will also bring the GT coupe and GranCabrio in India are power by the 4.3-litre, V8 generates 405bhp for the former and along with GT S model that will be mated with 4.7-liter produces 440bhp. The Cabrio is powered with the same4.7-litre V8 that produces around 433bhp. Maserati Quattroporte will be priced around Rs 1.2 to Rs 1.5 Crore and on the other side, GT and GranCabrio will be priced between Rs 1.5 to 2.0 Crores.
