Hindustan Motors Executive Vice President and Business Head Vijay Kumar told

“We are going to increase the Outlander price, which was earlier an introductory one. It will be about two per cent and it will be from September 1.”

Mitsubishi has existed in India since 1998 starting with the Lancer and little else has been done by the Japanese firm since then. The 12 year old Lancer still continues to be sold while the Cedia and Pajero did not quite meet expectations. That could change as Mitsubishi have announced new plans to bring the legendary Evolution X as well as the Pajero Sport to India. The firm targets 100% increase in sales in 2010-11 compared to 2009-10.
