Mitsubishi Lancer facelift is due for long time. Now we are bringing latest images of Mitsubishi Lancer 2010 also called Lancer EX GT from their plant in Thailand. It seems Mitsubishi has spend sufficient amount of efforts and resources to make the facelift exercise happens and it has yielded some good results as well.

New Lancer 2010 has got an all new front grille, the bonnet line is looking similar to Italian beauties like Fiat Punto and Linea.Mitsubishi has incorporated nice muscle linings in the bonnet and the headlights are sporty and are real refreshed pairs. The front bumpers have got nice trim that makes Mitsubishi Lancer EX GT is truly a muscle car.

Mitsubishi has designed and incorporated a great tail lamp cluster in this variant of Lancer.A nicely co-ordinated tail lamps units make place for all tail lamps elements in this small unit.Mitsubishi has intelligently used clear lens for making the tail lamps absolutely stunning. What’s more the new Lancer comes with a factory fitted fairing as well.

Mitsubishi Lancer was once the top performance pick for many Indian customers. But now Lancer lost the steam due to ageing,So we believe Mitsubishi should seriously consider the makeover of the old Lancer too.Would you agree to our opinion.

Hi George – glad to see the photos. Any details on the India launch at all ?
The new looks are definitely required in India – its been a long time since I saw one of the Lancers on the road let alone the Cedias. Mitsu seems happy selling a handful of SUVs a year – not sure how they are still doing business.
Dear Sushil,
Welcome back after short break. We are not sure about Lancer 2010 launch in India. We believe Mitsubishi planning to launch EVO in India later this year. That also through CKD route so for sure pricing will be near Rs.25Lac.We will once again check with our sources and will inform further developements if any.
Thanks for sharing such a great post. Nice pic. I am very much satisfy with the 2009 Mitsubishi lancer. This is one of the smallest sedan car and having this car is an indication of high status. It is very well designed car, very comfortable as interiors are quiet spacious. According to price, it gives good performance. Dear Mack,
I am happy to see you loved the post.Mitsubishi Lancer is a value for money product.Unfortunately Mitsubishi is not updating Lancer in India for last few years. So Lancer is being phase out from Indian roads.
do u think that this car would find customers in india…….bcz there is a new breed of small cars ruling urban india
Dear Sushant,
It is too early to say, Lancer 2010 will be a hit or not in India. You are absolutely right, small cars are now ruling urban India. But notice the fact that Sedans and Luxury cars are also doing moderately well.Mitsubishi Lancer always have a strong but niche fan following in India.
Great to see that finally something has been done about Lancer – though they tried to make some face lifting with Cedia, that wasn’t quite good (By the way, did you see the new Cedia pics? The graphic stickers look so stupid)
Looking at the 2010 Lancer front design, it gives me a feeling that the nose is protruding way too much out of the chassis. We need to really get to see it on road… Some how I did not like it
George,Sushil as you know Lancer is like a prestigious thing in Kerala, even now
)
Dear Ajith,
Are you talking about Cedia Sports images shown in Greatdrivingchallenge competition promo?I feel that may not be a regular production version.I agree with you the Cedia Sports looks ugly.Personally I did not like Mitsubishi Lancer 2010 as well.
About Keralite’s obsession with Lancer you are right Lancer is a status symbol for all from common man to politicians.
superb is the only word to xpress this car
thnks mitsubishi

Good to hear you liked new Mitsubishi Lancer 2010
I just purchased a 2010 Lancer EX in Singapore, and boy is she a beauty!! I got her in red, so she looks like a sports sedan all ready to take on any car in its class. The 1500cc version is not a good choice because the body is too heavy and feels draggy when i test drove it. The 2000cc version, which i bought, is pure bliss….with 155 horsepower and top speed of 200km/h, unmatched with any other japanese car in its class.
The body kit is all set to improve with the 2010 facelift, with inbuilt paddle shifts(for those who just love manual power with the comfort of automatic transmision), GPS/DVD feature from Kenwood, and bodykits to get those driving around you to drool. I am waiting for her arrival in late October 2009.
No questions yaar, just get the best, be in India or Singapore…..
I own a Mitsu Lancer GTS 08 Rally Red with CVT and paddle shifters in US, I don’t see any face lift on this, this absolutely the same as I have.
That apart, this car is a great handler, I just got new GoodYear Eagle GT 215×45 R18 on them and the car literally changed course… icing on top I got a K&N filter and the car started roaring with more BHP.
All in all the lancer with CVT is a great buy, touch the paddles and it zoooms past other cars.
Hope to see this India too…wish I could afford the EVO X!
to own a lancer was my dream , but i stopped dreaming after seeing th new version
We welcome your feedback. You are the first reader who expressed negative opinion about 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer.
hii this version is so nice but its cost does matters alot
Sure Abinav,
But we don’t know whether HM-Mitsubishi is planning it’s India launch in near future.
the new proton will launch same like this model
Hi all…
I have a 2000 lancer glx and even after 10 years, she drives just fine. The 2010 Lancer looks exceptional and I am now in a mood to upgrade to the 2.0D. The lancer evo has been launched in India just 2 weeks ago. Exceptional as tat vehicle is, somehow, it just doesnt make sense to purchase something that costs 50 lakhs, has so much power, but no roads to drive on.
I need info on when the new lancer will be in Indian markets. I read that it will be priced somewhere around the 15lakh bracket. Also some inputs on the pajero sports will also be much appreciated.
Why dose the horn sound so wierd
is it tru that the lancer parts are very expensive.and hard to get.caus ei live in the caribbean
hi , when this model lancer will launched in India , and wats the price
Pictures of Mitsubishi Lancer are pretty good and so as the vehicle. It has got sophasticated engine and awesome performance
