Days before we reported that Mitsubishi is planning a Compact Crossover based on Outlander platform.Today Mitsubishi released first concept image of this crossover to media.The image depicts it’s Mitsubishi roots without even mentioning it’s background.This crossover will be christened as Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and will be launched in Japan in first quarter of 2010.
While Mitsubishi planning to release the official sketch of Outlander Sport, the test mule of this crossover also caught on testing field.Both the images sharing lot of similarities and proves they have already advanced a lot in development front.The Outlander Sport Crossover image indicates Mitsubishi is planning to expand their portfolio further and make a strong base in passenger car and crossover segment.So wait till next Geneva Motorshow, we will bring you final images of this new kid on crossover block.
Back to India, still we don’t have any information about Outlander Sport’s Indian launch plans,we will get Mitsubishi Evo-X in next year’s auto show.Any further changes will be updated soon!
