We do not know what exactly happened at Fiat but somehow the CAD images of the next-gen Palio have leaked to Noticias Automotivas. The new Palio is due in May 2011 in Brazil and could eventually make it to India (with a different name apparently?) . The leaked images show the CAD model’s (CATIA we suppose) skin minus the lights and bumper.
The shape is very similar to that of the i20 although the face and the rear decide the final styling. If you don’t believe us, we suggest you compare them side by side to find out the truth. Compared to the current model, the new one sports more curves and looks to be a modern design and we predict that the nose might take some cues from the bigger Punto and Bravo.
The car is still sometime away and look through the images to see for yourself.
