Very observant enthusiasts recently spotted a face lifted Tavera in the Rohtang pass. The car seems to be in the testing phase since the images reveal wiring plugged into various sensors and a computer. Apart from the new bumpers and a slightly modified front grille, there seem to be no physical changes to the exterior. The interiors too look untouched.
However the biggest change will be under the hood. And that will be the 2.0 liter TCDI engine from Sonalika Rhino. The motor will put out a 100 bhp and will be BS IV compliant. Owning to this, a price hike is imperative.
Though there is no official words from GM India regarding 2012 Tavera’s debut in India, we expect it to happen during 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo.
