As we reported earlier, Hyundai India launched new Verna here. The new Hyundai Verna is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. There are two engine sizes (1.4 ltr and 1.6 ltr) on offer in both fuel options a. Hyundai India has been priced new Verna between Rs. 6.99 lakh and Rs. 10.74 lakh (ex show room New Delhi). There are ten variants of New Hyundai Verna on offer with mix and match of different features.
The gasoline variants of New Verna will produce 107PS and 123PS maximum power while diesel engines will develop 90PS and 128PS maximum power. According to Hyundai India, the fuel economy figures of New Verna are 1.4 petrol -17.43kmpl, 1.4 Diesel – 23.5kmpl , 1.6 petrol – 17.01 kmpl & 1.6 Diesel – 22.32 kmpl.
Hyundai India has been wisely chosen many features like music system with integrated USB, i-pod, Bluetooth and Aux-in connectivity, a driver information system, a reversing camera, a cooled glove box and a cluster ionizer fitted to the air-conditioning system in order to circulate clean air at all times. It also has six airbags, ABS and EBD in safety department.
As we discussed earlier launch of New Hyundai Verna is one of the most important launch in our sedan segment. With it’s design language and product features Hyundai Verna can attract many sedan buyers and can make Honda City and VW Vento’s market performance miserable. Anyways we are sure other manufacturers will realign themselves to protect their babies from this latest Korean attract.
We think now Ford India has a tough task ahead, they have to make New Fiesta from all perspectives.
Another good news surfaced along with the launch of new Hyundai Verna is Hyundai India will discontinue old Verna ie Hyundai Verna Transform.
