2011 Hyundai Verna (RB) was officially unveiled in overseas markets including Russia, Korea and China. During Hyundai RB concept’s debut in Russia, Hyundai had hinted about it’s Indian journey. As expected Korean auto major’s Indian arm has already started their home work (rather they are about to finish). Earlier we had published a pair images of new Verna being tested in our roads. As we promised in our earlier post we have more updates on new Verna now.
Hyundai Verna again spotted in our road, this time in Chennai. The video which was posted by IAB showing beautiful back of Verna while a pair images of snapped by a Team-BHPian gives some clues about possible Indian avatar of 2011 Hyundai. You may be thinking, what’s the point in camouflaging a car which was previewed in a major auto event? But there are some differences between the concept we saw in unveiling ceremony and test mule which appeared in Indian roads.
The test mule exhaust pipe looks altogether new, Hyundai now fitted a twin pipe exhaust for 2011 Verna while the concept was with a rhombus shaped one. The fog lamps too looks completely different from concept. In concept Verna came with a set of beautiful and futuristic fog lamps but unfortunately they are missing in test mule. Still Hyundai may be working on new Verna’s final Bill Of Material (BOM), let us wait and see what are all coming as part of our Indian Verna.
Stay tuned to Wheelosphere for more updates on 2011 Hyundai Verna India launch. We expect the new Verna in India by early 2011.
