Mahindra and Mahindra’s best seller Bolero undergone a cosmetic facelift today. Company launched an updated version of their entry level SUV Bolero with a price tag of Rs 6.19 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The facelift includes a new front and rear bumper set, restyled front grille, new body graphics, modified headlamps, cover for spare tyre and a top end variant (Bolero ZLX).
The updated Bolero will share 75bhp Low-Cost-Common-Rail (LCCR) engine with Scorpio EX and comes with an ARAI-certified fuel economy figure of 15.96kpl. Under the roof New Bolero has lots of extras like a new dual tone (a beige and wood finish) dashboard, a new steering wheel and centre console, a new gear knob cover and a new digital instrument cluster and multipurpose Driver Information System (DIS). The DIS will keep you updated about critical vehicle parameters like real-time fuel efficiency and distance to zero. The air conditioner vents are fully adjustable and can be shut. All seats have new dual tone covers as well as additional cushioning. New Bolero has voice alert system for reminding passengers about wearing seat belt during start ups.

The current Mahindra Bolero variant is a performing extremely well in our market from 2007 and still manages to out sell it’s competitor Tata Sumo by huge margins. With this additional features we expect Bolero will continue doing so in near future as well.

Powered by the refined & peppy new m2DiCR Engine that combines the modern common rail engine technology along with the dependability and low operating cost of the DI engine, the New Bolero offers great drivability, high fuel efficiency and superior acceleration.
