Fluence could be the first made in India by Renault product in India. During New Delhi Autoexpo-2010 Renault had announced the India launch of Fluence will happen by April 2011. As the launch is just four months away, Renault is rigorously testing Fluence on Indian roads. A member from Team-bhp has snapped these Fluence sedans doing their rounds in Chennai roads.
Fluence is developed on Renault-Nissan’s C-Platform. Renault Fluence shares the platform with Megane III. When it comes to design Fluence will stand out from the crowd. A nicely carved bonnet hood with small front grille makes Fluence unique. A pair of dominating headlights adding the beauty to Fluence front fascia. Under Renault Fluence bonnet hood, we will see a different avatar of Renault’s 1.5ltr dCi engine which is being used in Logan. But this engine will be fine tuned to get more power. This engine is known for it’s fuel efficiency, so it can be easily tweaked to bring extra power by slightly compromising on fuel efficiency front .
Renault Fluence will be coming to India in CKD form from Turkey and will be priced in Rs. 12-14 lakhs price bracket.
Presently Fiat Linea could be the most stylish sedan in our market, we think Renault Fluence will grab this spot very soon after it’s launch in India. Stay subscribed to Wheelosphere for more updates..
