Yes, Skoda changes logo as we reported earlier

New Skoda Auto Logo

Skoda Auto’s plans to change their identity is not a news for our regular followers. In fact we were the first Indian blog to break the story last year. Again we are bringing you the latest piece of information. Finally Skoda Auto has communicated to their dealers about the upcoming logo change. Two logo scheme have been finalized for future use, the one with green arrow in black background will be used for corporate communications and brochures while the one with silver arrow in background logo will decorate Skoda products.

But there is a slight difference between previously speculated logo and the final logo. There is no blue ring in final logo, according to our earlier speculations, the blue ring was expected to find a place in Skoda Auto’s new logo to show company’s connection to the German parent company  VW. The blue color circle in the perimeter has been replaced with a silver ring. But there is some thing common in  all VW group logos, the usage of silver. The new logo will not have “Skoda Auto” label on it.

Company will officially unveil the logo during Geneva Motor Show in March. Media reports that Skoda had recently previewed their products with new logo to their dealers. Since 1905, their inception Skoda Auto has changed their logo frequently and this is their sixth logo. Wait for official words from Geneva Motor Show in March.

Another interesting story is in pipe line so stay tuned!
