Rendering Skoda Electric Car Based On VW E-UP!

E-UP! is the electric version of VW UP!.Though VW is planning to defer the launch of UP!(obviously E-UP! too) for some months,their Czech arm wants to create their own version of UP!.The Czech version of VW E-UP! is again with blue heart.Hours after news came out about Skoda’s ambition to create a small car with electric power plant the rendered version of Skoda electric car is ready.

The rendered image of Skoda Electric car based on VW E-UP! clearly tells about it’s roots.This image may be raw and may need many rounds of refinement before(if at all) it goes to actual production.The artist anticipates the Skoda will continue to use VW E-UP! profiles and features in their electric car as well.

The front grille with Skoda logo has been fitted to bonnet hood and bumper cluster without leaving any chance to complaint.The headlamp cluster and front bumper assembly has been fabricated from scratch.The headlamp and fog lamp units sports an array of LED lamps resembles to high end Audi’s.The bottom half of front bumper looks similar to an upmarket sedan and it adds the beauty of this rendered version of Skoda Electric car.

In total we love to have this car on road, the most interesting feature we liked in this image would be LED lamp planted in the headlamps.The Skoda electric car will debut by 2013 and will run on Lithium- ion cell bank.Skoda is promising impressive range 150km/recharge for this car.

Back to India, Skoda is not doing well when comparing to it’s counterparts.It’s premium hatch though managed  to keep the numbers going for the last few months also lost charm,due to fierce attack from competition.So now wait and see will India also fall in Skoda Electric cars global map.Most likely India won’t come in this map for another five years at least.
