Skoda Fabia minor-change launch on October 12

Bharat Stage-4 emission norms forced Skoda to pull out the diesel version of the Fabia. Skoda decided to launch a new diesel engine along with a refreshed exterior and here it is. The new Fabia was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show back in March and it has taken Skoda half the year to bring the new one to India. However, though the new Fabia is late, it has some solid ammo up its arsenal.

First one is an all new 75bhp 1.2L diesel engine, the same one that also powers the Polo. For enthusiasts there is a 105bhp 1.6L petrol, also from the Polo (actually Vento). The new Fabia also gets a prominent family face thanks to larger headlamps and a sharper radiator grille. All said and done, the launch around the corner. Stay tuned to Wheelosphere for updates from the launch.

But, I was left with no choice and had to go to check her out.
