Ongoing Paris Motor Show got an electrifying start from Skoda. The Czechs today previewed the Octavia Combi electric variant which will go for mass production after four years. The concept is called Octavia Green E Line, boasts an 85KW electric motor under the bonnet hood. This 26.5Kw electric motor is powerful enough to take Green E Line Octavia to 100 km/hr from standstill within 12 seconds.
As the position of internal combustion engine is captured by an electric motor, the fuel tank got replaced by Lithium ion battery banks. The electric power house will give 280Nm torque at peak. The maximum speed of Octavia Green E Line is 135 km/hr and will have a driving range 140 km/one full charge.
