TVS Motors Planning 200cc motorcycle.

TVS Motor Co, had a stable performance this year. Though there were  set backs in sales volumes, the Chennai based firm made many remarkable launches in recent past. Before few weeks, after prolonged legal tussle with  Bajaj  they launched their 125cc offering TVS Flame in new form. While continuing the product launch spree, they launched  the clutch less motor cycle Jive and gearless scooter Wego. Now TVS wants to enter the real game. They are planning to launch a 200cc motorcycle in India.

TVS Motor Company President (Marketing) H S Goindi said “”If the market demands, we will look into the high-powered bike segment of above 200 cc category.” This 200CC TVS bike could be either a sports bike or a bike with racing DNA. At this point of time TVS has not made any firm decision on this aspect.

TVS may  further extend  their product  portfolio by adding another 125cc bike in near future. But this could be depend upon the market response of 125cc segment. Next year  our biker fraternity will get  two upgrades  from TVS Motors.

TVS after breaking their association with Suzuki Motors Cycles performed moderately well. They surprised all with successful launches like  Victor and Apache. Now will they meet our expectations while launching this 200cc bike as well? only time can answer!!
