Too Good To Be True!!

Mitsubishi Lancer got a niche fan following irrespective of the location. In India too Mitsubishi Lancer made it’s own foot print in very short time span. But unfortunately  Lancer could not sustain that market sentiments for long time. On the other hand Mitsubishi’s competitors worked overtime to realign their product strategy and check the growth of Lancer. Needless to say they achieved the target,  for the last few months  I have not spotted any brand new Mitsubishi Lancer in Pune.

Now for time being we can keep the Indian saga of  Lancer  apart. As we said  Mitsubishi Lancer tasted success in other markets and Mitsubishi is trying to keep the  momentum there. Woody’scarsite has posted an image of possible new generation Mitsubishi Lancer. If the image is believed to be true, Lancer is bound to take a diversion  from former’s path interms of styling and looks. The new generation Lancer got very aggressive styling which is one step ahead than that of current signature grille design of Mitsubishi. A pair of narrow  headlamps and new design bumpers enhances the looks of  2012 Mitsubishi Lancer.

A larger air scoop has been provided to make the power house cool while working hard to deliver intended power on demand. Overall  2012 Lancer is growing out of sedan territory. We anticipate a hybrid version of New Lancer as well, we may have to wait a couple of years to see this master blaster on road.
