Current generation BMW X6 is now three years old. It is the right age for any car to undergo a facelift. Knowing this fact, BMW is all set to give a midlife facelift to their X6. This time facelift will be limited to the aesthetics and we don’t expect any major changes in the current model. 2012 BMW X6 will have a slightly tweaked head and tail lamps pair. Both the head and tail lamps will be LED powered and the shapes look bit tapered compared to the outgoing model.
At this moment we don’t have any solid information about engine and transmission options of new BMW X6. Sources say that 2012 X6 will get BMW’s all new six cylinder 3.0ltr diesel engine that generate 350 hp power and 750 Nm of torque.
The facelifted BMW X6 may debut during first half of 2012. We expect the Indian debut too may happen very soon after it’s international debut. Stay tuned for more information.
