Mercedez-Benz and Bosch combination developed a new generation display system,Splitview for it’s luxury models. Now onwards Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be sporting a Splitview screen in instrumentation console. In simple words Splitview can be compared to a hologram which displays different images from different directions.
Here we are explaining the working of Splitview technology further, the major components are One TFT-LCD screen which can display two images at a time by arrangement of pixels and an image filter which can mask one image according to seating position. So the driver can always follow the navigator directions and co-passenger can enjoy anything of his/her choice.
Splitview offers the co-passenger full control over the programmes without distracting the driver. This technology will be offered in all Mercedes-Benz -S series from summer-2009.Once you read this,it looks simple right? that is called innovation, kudos to Mercedes-Benz team.
