International Automobile Federation(FIA) the governing body of Formula-1 recently proposed standardisation of engines from 2010 season onwards.With this move FIA plans to cut cost incurred in engine development.But participants are not happy with this move.
Toyota was the first team to express the displeasure on this development.Toyota officials said,they will consider pulling out from Formula-1 motor race. Now Alonso, double time champion of 2005 and 2006 said Formula -1 going backward in technology front. He added he will consider retirement from Formula-1 once this plan is implemented.
Next year Formula-1 season will witness Kinetic Energy Recovery System(KERS) to tap some extra power from braking.Now race is being extended out side the tracks.
