Stefan GP, the Serbian team that took over the assets of the ex-Toyota F1 team have been requesting the FIA to provide them with a slot on the 2010 grid. Team owner Zoran Stefanovich wants the government-backed team to be a 14th entry for the 2010 campaign. Stefan GP have put forward a point that the team hopes to fill a gap ‘if’ US F1 or Campos Meta fail to make it for the 2010 season. Moreover, Stefan GP has received strong support from ex-head Bernie Eccelstone.

The ruling body of motorsports, FIA has announced a set of changes to the 2010 Formula1 season including a new points scoring system and the appointment of a panel consisting of 3 highly experienced F1 veterans to judge accident related matters.
