Next Generation Chevrolet Aveo U-VA Spied

November 12th, 2009

Chevrolet  Aveo the hatchback doing moderately well in European market. But it’s Indian avatar Chevrolet Aveo U-VA  is doing terribly bad.Now General Motors is all set for changing the international edition of Aveo. The available spy suggest the New Aveo, (probably Chevrolet Viva) is nearing the mass production line. The commercial launch may happen by end of 2011 starting from U.S.

New Cherolet Aveo

The Chevrolet Viva is based on Gamma-II chassis platform. The body styles may include  four door sedan and five door hatchback. The engine variants and their detailed specifications are not available at this moment.Chevrolet will replace the  their B-Segment offering Aveo  in American and other European markets with Viva.

New Chevrolet Aveo-U-VA

There is no word about  replacement of Chevrolet U-VA in India, though we feel GM India should seriously consider replacing this hatch with an eligible candidates like Chevrolet Agile, which is a  new offering in Argentina and there it continues to make ripple in market or this Chevrolet Viva.Hope our readers will agree with our opinion.

New Aveo

There is a another interesting view point, both Chevrolet Agile and Chevrolet Viva could be same. But we don’t take this as reliable one, as is there a point in keeping Viva camouflaged as Agile is already launched in Argentina.Anyway wait for few more weeks we may be able to solve this mystery.

Stay tuned for further updates!
