Nissan Micra March Sedan Nissan Micra/March Sedan rendering (Codename : L02B)

With the Micra already unveiled and creating quite a buzz, the focus will slowly shift to the Micra based sedan on the V-Platform. The sedan version codenamed L02B will be launched by end-2010 to early 2011. Going by the renderings available and the styling of the hatchback, we think that the sedan will not be a Micra+boot (like the Dzire or the older Indigo). The hatch’s styling wouldn’t gel well with a boot stuck to it and Nissan being Nissan are likely to make the sedan look distinct.

2012 BMW 3 series rendering 1 2012 BMW 3 Series photos leaked?

French Magazine Automobile has revealed photos revealing the next-generation BMW 3 series that is still two years away. However, the site carries no indication of its sources nor does it justify the truth of the pictures. We certainly dont think these are leaked images though. The next-gen 3-series is expected to be revolutionary thereby maintaining its uniqueness in its segment. The rendered images do look very similar to the CS concept. Most importantly, BMW would differentiate its 3 from the 5 and the 7.

2011 Porsche Cayenne India Porsche takes the wraps off the next gen Cayenne SUV before Geneva debut

Porsche has revealed the next-gen Cayenne before its debut in Geneva. This comes after leaked pictures that emerged online yesterday. This is the third generation model with and still comes with its own love-or-hate looks although this time its better looking than the older generations. Still it isn’t the best looking SUV. While the older versions looked like raised 911s, this one resembles a raised Panamera, especially around the headlamps. Like the previous generations, the Turbo version will be visually more aggressive compared to the rest of the lineup. The big news for Porsche is the introduction of the Hybrid Cayenne, a first for Porsche as it uses the firm’s first ever parallel full hybrid drive system.

The hybrid gets a 3.0L Supercharged V6 with 380bhp and 427lb-ft of torque mated to a 47hp electric motor. All of the 427lb-ft of torque is available practically from idle (1000rpm). Porsche say that the Cayenne S Hybrid is capable of driving up to 40 mph solely using electric assist, and the gasoline engine can be completely switched off at cruising speeds up to 155 km/h. Official fuel efficiency figures will be available once the new Cayenne goes on sale.

More details, pictures, Press release and dune bashing video after the jump.
