Ford will launch its much awaited Ford Figo officially on March 9 in Delhi. Ford has sent out media invites indicating the date of launch. Michael Boneham, president and MD of Ford India, and Joe Hinrichs, group VP, Ford Motor company would be gracing the occasion at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi.
Although we have covered numerous stories on the Figo, here is a quick recap – The Figo is based on the Indian Fiesta sedan platform which is itself based on the previous-gen European Fiesta. It will come with a 1.2L petrol and a 1.4 diesel from the Fiesta. The Figo will be built exclusively in India and exported to the Asia-Pacific and Africa regions.
