Tata Motors to launch Aria in October

The Aria, first shown at the Auto Expo in January will finally be launched in October, coinciding with the festive season in India. The Aria has been in development for over five years and has gone through extensive testing in many places on the planet. The final product was apparently given the finishing touch by Jaguar-Land Rover Engineers. The Aria will compete against every vehicle from the Xylo, Innova and Scorpio at one end to the CR-V and Outlander at the other. Sporting a 2.2L CRDi engine with 140bhp channeled through four wheels and a six speed gearbox, the Aria is expected to be priced from Rs 10 lakhs.

The Aria will be loaded with all kinds of features from DVD entertainment, In-dash GPS, climate control to ESP, ABS, multiple airbags, Traction Control, Fold flat seats etc..Tata Motors have also opened the teaser site along with a contest attached for the Aria – www.BuildADreamCar.com
