Hyundai I20 Three Door was expected to see day light in upcoming Geneva Motor Show.But unexpectedly Hyundai unveiled the ‘unusual three door I20′ images.The expected launch of three door I20 is on 3rd March at Geneva Auto Show.The Korean auto major Hyundai planning to launch this special three door I20 in UK market by April-2009 and other European market will follow soon.
The three door I20 will be powered by the same engines used in original 5door variants.As the name suggest three door I20 differs from it’s sibling only in terms of number of doors.With three doors I20 sheds 10Kgs from its actual weight.
The engine configurations available in three door I20 are three petrol engine units (1.2L with 78PS, 1.4L with 100PS and 1.6L with 126PS) and four diesels (1.4L with 75 and 90PS and 1.6L with 115 and 128PS).Do remember the fact that Hyundai is currently offering 1.1L engine in Indian market since it’s launch.There are rumours that Hyundai adding a diesel option in existing I20 variants.
