Toyota Fortuner Launched In India With 18.45Lacs Price Tag

Toyota Fortuner launch plan was reported by Wheelosphere much earlier than any other Indian  automobile blog.Then we covered the Fortuner launch date advancing to August instead of September.Now finally that has happened!Fortuner  in India is no more a dream and Indians also entered to the league of Fortuner owners across the world.

Toyota launches Fortuner with 18.45lacs(ex-showroom New Delhi) price tag.Fortuner is packed with many basic features of a Sports Utility Vehicle(SUV).Toyota has planted a powerful 3.0ltr engine to make this mammoth vehicle keep moving.The transmission is manual no auto box variant for now.The Toyota Fortuner Automatic may come by this year end.Fortuner is coming to India in Completely Knocked Down(CKD) form thus Toyota managed to maintain the pricing near Rs.18lacs.Only diesel variant is available in India now no news about petrol version.

Fortuner available in five different colours,white, silver, grey, black and light blue.Toyota says high ground clearance and longer wheel base will definitely give Fortuner a SUV image.Fortuner also got plush leather interiors,climate control and multi-function steering wheel.

"Automobile market in India has shown robust growth in India. Toyota will introduce new models and expand its network to capture this growing market," added Toyota Kirloskar managing director Hiroshi Nakagawa.Toyota is aiming to sell around 2000 units this year in India and meanwhile they said Toyota could capture over 2000units pre-launch booking.That means Toyota India has already achieved their sales target for this year.
