Toyota LandCruiser 2009 Revamped In Australia

Toyota LandCruiser arrived in India before few weeks.Toyota updated LandCruiser in  Australian market by adding many useful features.By updating LandCruiser Toyota improved LandCruiser’s all time SUV image further.Now LandCruiser 200 series in Australia is fitted with a sub tank in addition to the mail fuel tank as standard.Original fuel storage capacity of LandCruiser is 93ltrs,similar to Indian variant,now Toyota has added a sub tank for additional 45 ltr fuel storage to it.So the total capacity of the fuel storage is 138ltr.

2009 Toyota LandCruiser Featers Upgraded in Australia

2009 LandCruiser  can now easily cover approximately 1340kms with full fuel tank.

David Buttner, Executive Director for Sales and Marketing at Toyota Australia, said the latest changes were in response to customer demand.

“The only two grades that previously did not offer the sub-tank as standard fitment were the highly specified VX and Sahara twin-turbo diesel,” Mr Buttner said.

“We are now offering customers greater flexibility. Buyers of those two grades can specify the sub-tank and have seven seats; alternatively, there is still an eight-seat option.”

In addition to this change some minor  but noteworthy changes also incorporated in 2009 Toyota LandCruiser.The rear view camera is no more a optional feature.The terrain driving LandCruiser is improved by making Toyota CRAWL system as part of standard model.In revamped Toyota LandCruiser the steering wheels got inbuilt audio controls and audio system is compatible with USB and Auxiliary input.

The moon roof and dark grey tinted glass are now not extras.The 17” alloy wheels of old Toyota  LandCruiser have been replaced with 18” alloy wheels.The petrol variant and seven seat variant of 2009 LandCruiser got a  DVD player with screen mounted on seats backside  with three wireless headphones.The basic version of upgraded  LandCruiser got a new pilot seat with controls for adjusting the height.Toyota has revisited the price book of LandCruiser and incremented by 1 percent.Don’t you think Toyota is too generous with Australian customers?
