Toyota Prius is  the best seller in hybrid family sedan segment America and Japan.Now Toyota Motors exploring the possibilities of extending the Prius platform, the first variant of Toyota Prius could be a MPV.Don’t laugh it off, we have got a proof as well.The image suggests Toyota has already made advancement in the development of the product and can be easily launched in another year time.

Toyota is planning to launch a  station wagon variant of Prius as well.Already Prius is enjoying the dominance in Hybrid car market by pushing hard their Japanese rival Honda Insight.The MPV and Station Wagon version also will be backed by lithium/ion battery cache.The initial launch of Prius variants will happen by 2011 in Japan and European markets.

Prius is expected to hit Indian market by next year.Toyota is not anticipating big number from here.In two-three years down the line we may get some numbers of Toyota Prius Station Wagon and Prius MPV as well.So stay tuned for upcoming updates.
