VW Polo Sedan aka Vento New Renderings Surfaces

 

VW Polo Sedan aka Vento India launch is scheduled for July 2010. Last time we had published on set of  images of  this upcoming sedan. Now  we have got another interesting collection of  VW Vento renderings. These images are said to be released by  VW’s Russian subsidiary. Media reports are suggesting that VW is planning to advance the launch schedule of Vento and first exhibition may happen in Russia by June 2010.

Vento looking  beautiful yet muscular sedan in recent fresh images. The front grille and headlamps cluster is more stylish than the hatchback version of Polo. The tail lamps are simple in design  but exposes it’s German roots. The VW has increased the wheel base by few centi meters to offer better head room and leg room for rear row occupants. Under the hood VW got many engine options to choose from, VW may choose engines which are currently used in Polo Hatch initially and may extend the list after assessing  market response.

In short if appropriately priced  VW Vento can be  serious threat to current rulers of  Indian family sedan segment. So Honda, Fiat and Toyota may have to rework their strategy to protect their share in this space.
